Turns out the xB rims won’t fit on the Fit despite the same bolt pattern because the Honda hub is way bigger than the opening in the Toyota wheel.
New plan is now needed for replacing the brand new snow tires that came on the Fit.

No chance of getting the hub bores machined out a bit?

I’d have to remove the entire flange. Which might compromise the wheel strength. Even if i could find a cost-effective way to do it.

I’m sure you can find some honda wheels for cheap... look for some in bright blue or hot orange.

Looks like the difference is 2 mm - 54.1 vs. 56.1 mm.

A little late to the game, but congrats on the purchase! We have the same year, trim, and color Fit. I love that car.
I would consider Craigslist hunting for any other 4x100 Honda wheels. There should be plenty. Keep the winter tires for the actual winter, and get some fun A/S or summer tires for the current 16".
Or simply go with Option 2. Sell what you don’t want and recuperate.
